Morgridge trucks lined up in the yard on Route 236 in Eliot, Maine.

Home  /  About

Since 1948. Now two yards, one phone number.

A locally owned family business out of Eliot, Maine and Ossipee, New Hampshire. Septic pumping on the Seacoast and in the Lakes Region.

Our story

Family owned, not big corporations

L.W. Morgridge & Son was started in 1948 by William “Bill” Morgridge’s father, in Eliot, Maine. The first years were construction work, earth work and hauling and putting sewer lines in the ground, but septic pumping is what the company became known for, and it has been the heart of the business ever since.

Bill Morgridge took over after working alongside his father, before running the business day to day. Today crews work out of two yards: Route 236 in Eliot, Maine and 674 White Mountain Hwy in Ossipee, New Hampshire.

We are a family owned local business, real people who answer the phone, drive the trucks and stand behind the work. Family owned, not big corporations. More than 10,000 homes and businesses across Maine and New Hampshire count on us.
