Tank access at ground level. The difference between a ten-minute lid lift and breaking through frozen ground.
4.9 on Google , rated 4.9 out of 5 from 61 reviewsRisers & Covers
A septic lid buried under a foot of soil is nothing to worry about in August. In February, with the ground frozen through, that same lid turns a routine service call into an excavation.
Somebody has to break frozen ground to reach the inlet, the outlet and the filter, and that labor lands on your invoice. A riser brings the access point up to grade with a lid that lifts. Put one in when the ground is soft and every visit after that is faster and cheaper.
What a riser gives you
Every one of them shows up on a winter invoice.
The lid sits at ground level. No digging to find it and no guessing where it is buried.
When something backs up in winter the tech opens a lid instead of breaking ground. Instead of digging to get access to your tank, we reach the inlet and outlet covers immediately.
You are not paying anyone to jackhammer frozen soil to reach a cover.
The outlet filter needs rinsing every six to twelve months. Risers make that routine instead of a project.
Risers go on the tank, the inlet, and the outlet/filter area, the three places we need to reach on a service call.
How an install goes
If it has never been mapped we find the openings first.
Inlet, outlet and filter area get uncovered.
The access point comes up to grade with a lid that lifts by hand.
Ground goes back level so it mows like the rest of the lawn.
Risers set in the yard, access brought up to grade.

Put one in when the ground is soft, and every visit after that is faster and cheaper.
Our word
Before we start, you hear what the install involves and what it costs. Before we leave, the ground is back to grade and the lid lifts by hand. Straight work, priced straight. No upsell script, no mystery invoice.
Why do it now
Every winter the tank stays buried is another winter an Emergency call costs more than it needs to.
Installed on a warm day, a riser is straightforward work on soft ground.
Frozen ground means jackhammering, and jackhammering means labor cost landing on your invoice.
Access at grade makes filter cleanings and pumpings quicker every single visit.

Great experience with Zeke who pumped the septic, replaced cover and reseeded area disturbed for my buyer clients on their new home. Thank you for always providing quality service!

These guys have been taking care of our septic for 8 years and are awesome. Zeke was at the house today and went above and beyond , even put some grass seed down in the tank access hole where the lawn was turned up.

Absolutely outstanding service from this septic company from start to finish. They were professional, honest, punctual, and explained everything clearly without trying to upsell unnecessary work. The entire crew worked hard and treated the property with respect, leaving everything clean when the job was done.

Once a year for most houses. The filter is what keeps solids from leaving the tank.
